The subject matter has concepts about transparency, reflection, and lessons in remembering, that are all deeply meaningful to me. My goal is to emotionally engage the viewer, showing them something familiar, in a new way.”
“Aesthete is an adjective, describing someone with a deep sensitivity to the beauty of art and nature. Nature studies are a reoccurring theme found throughout my body of work. Subtle nuances of color, shape, and light are used to enlivened my paintings. This natural imagery is drawn from my own life experiences, and relate to places that I have traveled or lived. ”
